About
I was born in Detroit in 1947, but Colorado became home in 1971 and has shaped my life and work ever since.
I began making pots in western Colorado in 1974—first in Cedaredge, then a one year residency in Crested Butte, then Aspen, and
later in a small pot shop in El Jebel.
The micro‑computer revolution carried me into an entirely different world. I spent many years developing software,
making pots only occasionally until the 1990s.
In 2017, I returned to Cedaredge, where my practice continues to evolve.
